Bukit Batok, meaning "coughing hill" in Malay, is a planning area in western Singapore. Developed from the 1980s, it is a hilly, green residential town with a large nature park, reservoir, and the famous Bukit Batok Memorial — a WWII landmark. The area is also known for the Little Guilin quarry lake.

By Plane

Changi Airport (SIN) is 25 km east, 30 min taxi ($32-38). MRT: take the East-West Line from the airport to Jurong East, then the North-South Line to Bukit Batok (NS2) — 50 min.

By Train

Bukit Batok MRT (NS2) is on the North-South Line, 32 min from Marina Bay and 10 min from Jurong East.

By Car / Road

Accessible via the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) and Bukit Batok Road. Parking at West Mall ($1.50-2.50/h).
