Boon Lay is a planning area in western Singapore, named after Ong Boon Lay, a prominent Cantonese businessman who owned the area's rubber plantations. It is a mature HDB town developed from the 1980s, known for the Jurong Point shopping mall (one of Singapore's largest suburban malls) and its proximity to the old Jurong Bird Park and Nanyang Technological University.

Changi Airport (SIN) is 28 km east, 35 min taxi ($35-42). MRT: East-West Line from the airport direct to Boon Lay (EW27) — 55 min.

By Train

Boon Lay MRT (EW27) is the terminus of the East-West Line, 35 min from Raffles Place and 5 min from Jurong East.

Accessible via the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) and Boon Lay Way. Parking at Jurong Point ($1.50-2.50/h).
