By Plane

The nearest major airport is Federico Fellini International Airport (RMI) in Rimini, Italy, about 18 km away. Bologna Airport (BLQ) is the closest large international airport, located 123 km to the northwest.

By Train

San Marino has no active railway system. The closest railway station is in Rimini, Italy. From there, all international buses to San Marino stop in Dogana.

By Car / Road

Dogana is located directly on the SS72 highway, which becomes via Cinque Febbraio upon crossing the border. The drive from Rimini takes about 20 minutes (approx. 15 km). The hourly Rimini-San Marino bus stops in Dogana (approx. 25 minutes, €4).

The center of Dogana is walkable, with pedestrian paths and plazas. Local buses run frequently, connecting Dogana to Serravalle and up to the capital. Car parking is available at the commercial centers.
