Ponte Mellini
Serravalle, San Marino
Why visit Ponte Mellini?
Ponte Mellini is a small residential and commercial hamlet (curazia) within the municipality of Serravalle in north-eastern San Marino. Situated in the valley along the Ausa stream near the Italian border, the district developed primarily as a light industrial, craft, and logistics hub supporting the Sammarinese economy. Quiet residential lanes wind between commercial workshops, small enterprise offices, and roadside facilities.
Travelers generally visit Ponte Mellini for business trips, as a starting point for cycling routes along the Ausa valley, or for access to nearby parks and commercial outlets in the greater Serravalle area. Because it sits at an elevation of roughly 110 meters above sea level, Ponte Mellini has slightly warmer summers and milder winters than the steep slopes of Mount Titano above.
