Pierrot
Vieux Fort, Saint Lucia
Why visit Pierrot?
Pierrot is a small coastal settlement in the Vieux Fort district of Saint Lucia, situated north of Vieux Fort town along the Atlantic coast. The hamlet consists of a cluster of houses and small farms along the coast road, with a quiet, windswept beach facing the Atlantic Ocean. With a population of a few hundred, Pierrot is a fishing and farming community with a laid-back, unhurried atmosphere.
The settlement occupies a flat stretch of coastal terrain with banana and coconut plantations. The Atlantic-facing beach is broad and wild, with dark sand and strong surf — unsuitable for casual swimming but dramatic in its scenery. The surrounding area is agricultural, with the flat southern plain stretching inland toward the hills.
Pierrot has no tourist infrastructure. Its appeal is for travellers seeking solitude and an authentic coastal Saint Lucian experience, within easy reach of Vieux Fort's services and airport.
