Toro is a town in southern Bauchi State, the headquarters of Toro LGA. It lies on the Bauchi–Jos road and is known for its scenic location amid granite rock formations. The town is a commercial centre for the surrounding rural communities, predominantly inhabited by the Jarawa people.

The climate is tropical and cooler than the lowlands due to its elevation on the Jos Plateau fringe.
