Gwagwalada

Abuja Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria

Why visit Gwagwalada?

Gwagwalada is the largest satellite town in the Abuja Federal Capital Territory, located about 40 km south-west of the city centre. It serves as a major residential and commercial hub for the FCT's western corridor, with government housing estates, a sprawling central market, and the University of Abuja's Teaching Hospital. Gwagwalada's population has grown rapidly as Abuja's expansion pushed development westward along the Kubwa expressway corridor.
