Karu

Abuja Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria

Why visit Karu?

Karu is a rapidly growing satellite town on the eastern edge of the Abuja FCT, along the Abuja–Keffi highway. It is one of the largest dormitory suburbs for workers commuting into central Abuja. Karu has experienced explosive population growth in the past decade, with new housing estates, markets, and churches springing up along the highway corridor. The town crosses the border between the FCT and Nasarawa State (Karu, Nasarawa is a separate adjacent settlement).
