Why visit Kushma?
Kushma is a municipality in Parbat District, Gandaki Province, famous as Nepal's bungee jumping capital. The town is situated on the banks of the Kali Gandaki River at the junction of the Pokhara–Baglung highway. The Kushma Bungee Jump, from a suspension bridge over a dramatic gorge, is one of the highest in South Asia.
The climate is subtropical with warm summers, a monsoon (June–September), and mild winters. The best time to visit is October–March.

By Plane
The nearest airport is at Pokhara (PKR), 65 km north. Taxi from Pokhara costs Rs 2500–3500 (1.5 hours).
By Train
No train service.
By Car / Road
Kushma is on the Pokhara–Baglung highway, 65 km south-west of Pokhara (1.5 hours) and 20 km north of Baglung. Buses from Pokhara pass through regularly.
The town is walkable. The bungee site is a short walk from the centre.
