About Namib-Naukluft National Park

The Namib-Naukluft National Park is the largest game park in Africa, covering nearly 50,000 km². The Hardap Region portion includes the Naukluft Mountains and the eastern approaches to Sossusvlei. The Naukluft Mountains offer excellent hiking trails and unique desert-adapted wildlife.

The nearest airports are Walvis Bay (WVB IATA) and Windhoek (WDH IATA).

By Car / Road

The Naukluft section is accessed via the C24 and C19 roads from Mariental or Sesriem.

Private vehicle or guided tours. 4x4 is recommended for some routes.
