Why visit Arsal?
Arsal is a large town in the Baalbek-Hermel Governorate near the Syrian border at approximately 1,550 m elevation. Predominantly Sunni Muslim with a semi-arid climate; hot summers and cold winters.
The climate is Mediterranean with warm dry summers and mild wet winters. The best times to visit are spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) when temperatures are pleasant.

By Car / Road
From Beirut, drive to Baalbek then continue northeast toward the Syrian border. Security conditions should be checked before travel.
