Nkubu

Nkubu is a trading centre in southern Meru County, situated on the road between Meru town and Chuka. It is a market town serving the surrounding tea and coffee farming communities, with a predominantly agricultural economy.

Nkubu is on the Meru–Chuka road (B6 highway), easily accessible by matatu from Meru town. The journey takes about 20–30 minutes.

The town is walkable. Boda-bodas are available for local trips.
