About Amagasaki
Amagasaki is a city in southeastern Hyogo Prefecture, located between Osaka and Kobe on the Osaka Bay coast. It is a major industrial and port city, with a large petrochemical complex and manufacturing plants. Despite its industrial character, the city has a long history dating to the Edo period when it was a castle town. Amagasaki is also known for its dedicated arts scene and the Hiyori Park festival.

Amagasaki is on the JR Kobe Line and the Hanshin Main Line. From Osaka (Umeda), the journey is about 10 minutes on the Hanshin Line. From Kobe (Sannomiya), about 15 minutes. By car, it is about 10 minutes from central Osaka.
The city is well-connected by rail, with multiple stations. Local buses and taxis cover the industrial zones.
