Tamra (Hebrew: טמרה, Arabic: طمرة) is an Arab city in the Western Galilee of northern Israel, with a population of approximately 35,000. It is one of the larger Arab cities in Israel, situated in the hills between Acre and Karmiel. The population is predominantly Muslim. Tamra has a traditional, family-oriented character with strong community ties.
The climate is Mediterranean with warm summers and mild winters. The city is surrounded by green hills and agricultural land.

By Plane
Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) is approximately 120 km south. Haifa Airport (HFA) is about 40 km west.
By Train
There is no train station in Tamra. The nearest stations are Karmiel (15 km east) and Acre (20 km west).
By Car / Road
From Acre: approximately 20 km (25 min) via Route 85. From Karmiel: approximately 15 km (20 min). From Haifa: approximately 40 km (45 min) via Route 70. Bus services connect via Karmiel and Acre.
The city is best navigated by car or taxi. Walking within the central area is feasible.
