Ntoum

Ntoum is a market town situated on the N1 highway, about 60 km east of Libreville in Estuaire province. It serves the surrounding timber and agricultural communities and is a stopover for travellers heading inland. The town has a lively weekly market and basic services. The surrounding landscape is a mix of secondary forest and smallholder farms.

Ntoum lies on the N1 highway, 60 km east of Libreville (about 1.5 hours by shared taxi or bus). Buses and shared taxis from Libreville: CFA 3,000-5,000.

The town is small and walkable. Shared taxis serve surrounding villages.
