Why visit Tsada?

Tsada (Greek: Τσάδα) is a small hillside village situated in the Pafos District of Cyprus, perched on a high plateau at an average altitude of 615 meters (~2,018 feet) above sea level. Located about 8 km northeast of Paphos city, the village is nestled on the western slopes of the Troodos foothills. Because of its significant elevation, Tsada enjoys a cooler, less humid upland Mediterranean climate than the coastal areas, offering a refreshing retreat from the intense summer heat.

The village is famous for its panoramic views over the fertile Ezousa Valley and out to the Mediterranean Sea. While it remains a largely traditional Cypriot village with stone-built houses and agricultural fields, it has gradually attracted a modest community of expatriates. The surrounding hillsides are covered with vineyards, olive groves, and carob trees, making the area highly viable for viticulture and agriculture. The best time to visit is during the spring and autumn months when the weather is ideal for hiking, golfing, and exploring the countryside.
