Nueva Paz is a municipality and town in Mayabeque Province, Cuba, located approximately 65 km southeast of Havana. The town is set in the fertile plains of the Mayabeque River valley and has been an agricultural centre since colonial times, known for sugarcane and cattle.

The municipality has a population of around 25,000 and features a central plaza, a parish church, and a mix of colonial and modern buildings. The surrounding landscape is flat agricultural land, characteristic of Cuba's western lowlands.

By Plane

José Martí International Airport (HAV) in Havana is the nearest airport, approximately 65 km northwest. A taxi costs around CUC 50–60 and takes about 1 hour 15 minutes.

By Car / Road

Nueva Paz is accessible from Havana via the A1 autopista and local roads. The drive takes about 1 hour 15 minutes. Colectivos and occasional local buses serve the route.

The town centre is compact and walkable. Bici-taxis and horse-drawn carts provide local transport.
