Campechuela is a small coastal town in southern Granma Province, situated on the Gulf of Guacanayabo. The town has a population of approximately 5,000 and is primarily a fishing community. Campechuela sits on the coast between Manzanillo and the Cabo Cruz area, with a waterfront setting and a quiet, rural character.
The surrounding area is flat and agricultural, with sugarcane fields extending inland and mangrove-lined coast to the south. The town has a modest central area and a fishing harbour.
Tropical climate with dry season November–April and rainy season May–October. The coastal location provides sea breezes.

The nearest airport is in Bayamo (BYM), about 90 km north.
By Car / Road
Campechuela is about 60 km southwest of Bayamo via secondary roads (approximately 1.5 hours). From Manzanillo, the drive is about 30 km southeast (30 minutes). Local transport is infrequent.
Campechuela is small and walkable. For trips along the coast, arrange a taxi or boat locally.
