Khsach Kandal

Ta Khmau is the capital of Kandal Province, located just south of Phnom Penh along the Bassac River. It functions largely as a suburban extension of the capital, with a growing population of commuters. The town has its own market, provincial government offices, and a handful of temples.

As the nearest 'town' outside Phnom Penh, it offers a quieter alternative atmosphere while remaining well-connected to the capital.
