Morul

Morul is a village in Shamkir Rayon, northwestern Azerbaijan, located on the Ganja–Qazakh plain. Agriculture — grain, fruit orchards, and livestock — is the mainstay of the local economy. Morul is a small, quiet village with no tourist facilities. The best time to visit is spring or autumn.

By Plane

Ganja International Airport (KVD), about 30 km east, is the nearest major airport. Travel to Shamkir (30 min by taxi), then onward to Morul by taxi (10 minutes).

By Car / Road

From Shamkir town centre, head east on a local road for about 10 km. A taxi from Shamkir costs 5–10 AZN.

Morul is tiny and walkable.
