Lupane

Lupane is the capital of Matabeleland North Province, located approximately 160 km north-west of Bulawayo. It is a small administrative centre that became the provincial capital after Zimbabwe's independence. The town has a quiet, unhurried atmosphere and serves the surrounding rural Ndebele communities. It lies in the heart of the Matabeleland bushveld, surrounded by acacia woodland and cattle ranches.
