Chivhu is a town at the junction of the A4 (Harare–Masvingo) and A5 (Harare–Bulawayo) highways, approximately 140 km south of Harare. It is an important road junction and service stop for long-distance travellers crossing south-central Zimbabwe. The surrounding district is cattle-ranching and farming country.
