About Long Ho

Long Ho is a ward (phường) of Vĩnh Long city in Vĩnh Long Province, located in the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam. Situated along the banks of the Co Chien River (a distributary of the Mekong), Long Ho is a primarily residential area with a quiet, riverside character. The ward was formerly a township that was incorporated into the expanding urban area of Vĩnh Long city as the provincial capital grew.

The area enjoys a tropical monsoon climate: the dry season runs from November to April and the rainy season from May to October. The best time to visit is during the dry months when the river is at its most pleasant and travel on local roads is easier.
