Why visit Lam Ha?

Lâm Hà is a rural district in western Lâm Đồng province, bordered by Đức Trọng to the east and Đạ Huoai to the south. The name combines "Lâm" from Lâm Đồng and "Hà" from Hà Nội, reflecting its history as a destination for Hanoians resettling to cultivate new farmland. The district covers 979 km² with a population of about 135,800 (as of 2003), and the capital is Đình Văn township.

Lâm Hà is known for its fertile agricultural land, producing coffee, tea, and the famous Laba bananas (King-offering bananas). A major tourist attraction is Elephant Falls (Thác Voi), a dramatic multi-tiered waterfall set in forested hills. The district has a mild highland climate with a dry season from November to April and a rainy season from May to October.
