Lac Duong

Lâm Đồng, Viet Nam

Why visit Lac Duong?

Lạc Dương is a rural district in northern Lâm Đồng province, bordering Đắk Lắk province to the north and Khánh Hòa province to the east. The district covers 1,314 km² with a population of about 35,600 (as of 2022). The district capital lies at Lạc Dương town.

Lạc Dương is home to some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in the Central Highlands, including Langbiang Peak — the "roof of the Central Highlands" at 2,167 m — and much of Bidoup Núi Bà National Park. The district has a significant population of K'Ho ethnic minority people. The cool climate, pine forests, and mountain views make it a popular destination for trekking and nature travel. The best time to visit is during the dry season, November to April.
