Why visit Kong Chro?

Kong Chro is a district in eastern Gia Lai province, located in the foothills of the Central Highlands near the border with Binh Dinh province. The district is characterised by hilly terrain, rivers, and agricultural land where coffee, pepper, and rubber are cultivated. The district capital is the town of Kong Chro. Kong Chro is one of the less-developed districts of Gia Lai, with a predominantly rural population that includes a large proportion of Bahnar and Jarai indigenous communities. The district is undeveloped for tourism, offering an unvarnished look at highland rural life.
