Tuy Phong
Bình Thuận, Viet Nam
Why visit Tuy Phong?
Tuy Phong is a rural coastal district in northern Bình Thuận Province, with its capital at Liên Hương town. Covering 755 km² with a population of about 145,000, the district lies along the coastline between Bắc Bình to the south and Ninh Thuận Province to the north. The district includes the towns of Liên Hương and Phan Rí Cửa.
Tuy Phong's economy is driven by fishing, salt production, agriculture, and increasingly, renewable energy — the district is home to one of Vietnam's largest concentrations of wind turbines. Its coastline features long sandy beaches, rocky headlands, and the scenic Cà Ná beach area. The historic Cham heritage is also present, with remnants of Cham culture in the region. The climate is tropical monsoon with a dry season from November to April.
