About Yangiobod
Yangiobod is a small town in Toshkent Region, Uzbekistan. It is a small mountain settlement in the Chatkal Mountains. The climate is continental with hot summers that can reach 38°C and cold winters around freezing. Spring (April–May) and autumn (September–October) are the most pleasant times to visit. The town is compact and centred around a small bazaar with residential streets radiating outward into the surrounding farmland.

By Plane
The nearest major airport is Tashkent International Airport. A shared taxi from the airport costs around 100,000–150,000 so'm and takes about 1 hour depending on traffic. The airport has daily connections to Tashkent and other regional centres.
By Train
By Car / Road
Yangiobod is connected by road to the regional centre. Shared taxis (Damas) run throughout the day from the main bazaar, taking about 30–40 minutes and costing around 10,000–15,000 so'm per person. The road quality is generally good, with paved surfaces on the main routes.
The town is small enough to explore entirely on foot. For trips to neighbouring villages or farms, shared taxis gather near the bazaar. Bicycles are also commonly used by locals and can sometimes be borrowed at guesthouses.
