Boothbay Harbor is a charming coastal city in Lincoln County, Mid Coast Maine. Portland International Jetport (PWM), served by American, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, and United Express, is about 60 miles southwest. Augusta State Airport (AUG), served by Cape Air, is about 30 miles north. Both airports offer rental cars and taxi service.

Boothbay Harbor is accessible via Route 1 to Route 27 North. From Portland, take I-295 North to Route 1 North, then Route 27 North to Boothbay Harbor, approximately 60 miles (about 1 hour). From Augusta, take Route 27 South, approximately 30 miles (about 35 minutes). The town is compact and parking is available at various lots and meters downtown.
Bo-Bo's Coastal Cabs (+1 207-380-4182) provides taxi service. The downtown area is walkable, with most shops, restaurants, and waterfront attractions within easy walking distance. The harbor area is best explored on foot, with numerous paths and viewpoints along the water.
