Khmelnytskyi

Khmelnytskyi (Ukrainian: Хмельницький) is the administrative centre of Khmelnytska oblast, a modern industrial city with extensive parks and Soviet-era architecture.

As the largest urban centre in Khmelnytska oblast, Khmelnytskyi serves as the oblast's administrative, cultural, and transport hub. Visitors come for its well-preserved architectural heritage, which spans several centuries and reflects the complex history of Western Ukraine. The city's compact centre is easily explored on foot, with museums, churches, and parks concentrated within a few square kilometres.

The nearest international airport is in Kyiv. For domestic connections, the closest regional airports serve limited routes.

By train
