Turkoglu

Türkoğlu is a town in Kahramanmaraş Province, southeastern Turkey, about 20 km south of Kahramanmaraş city on the road to Gaziantep. With a population of around 40,000, it is an important transport and agricultural centre. The town has a railway station on the Adana–Elazığ line, making it a regional transport hub. The surrounding plain produces wheat, cotton, and olives.

The climate is continental with very hot, dry summers and cool, rainy winters. Spring and autumn are the best visiting seasons.
