Yahsihan

The town centre is small enough to walk across in five minutes. Everything - the mosque, the market square, the bakkal, and the tea garden - is within easy walking distance.

The çay bahçesi (tea garden) near the mosque is the social heart of the town, where men gather to play cards and tavla over small glasses of tea. Expect a traditional, all-male atmosphere.

Yahsihan has no accommodation for tourists. The nearest hotels are in the provincial capital. If you are visiting as part of a longer trip, plan to return to the provincial capital for the night.

The weekly market is the place to buy fresh produce, local cheese, honey, olives, and basic household goods. A few bakkals in the town centre sell daily essentials. There are no dedicated souvenir shops.
