About Yumurtalik
Yumurtalık is a coastal district in Adana Province, situated on the Mediterranean coast about 60 km east of Adana city centre. Formerly known as Ayas, it was an important medieval port used by Armenian, Genoese, and Venetian merchants. Today it is a quiet seaside town known for its beaches, seafood restaurants, and the nearby Yumurtalık Nature Reserve, a coastal wetland important for birdlife.
The climate is Mediterranean with hot summers and mild winters, making it a pleasant year-round destination.

By Plane
Çukurova Airport (COV IATA) is about 65 km west. Take a taxi or shuttle to Adana first, then connect to Yumurtalık.
By Train
By Car / Road
Yumurtalık is about 50 minutes east of Adana via the D-400 and coastal roads. Regular minibuses run from Adana's otogar.
The town is small and walkable. The beach areas and nature reserve are best explored by car.
