Heping

Heping (和平) is a large mountain district in eastern Taichung City, Taiwan, encompassing much of the Shei-Pa National Park and the Daxueshan forest area. It is home to the Atayal indigenous people and offers spectacular mountain scenery.

The climate is alpine at higher elevations.

Heping is accessible via Provincial Highway 8 (Central Cross-Island Highway) and County Road 200.
