Jinhu

Jinhu (金湖) is a township in eastern Kinmen County, Taiwan, known for its military history and traditional Minnan architecture. The area includes the Taiwu Guesthouse area, former military command centres, and well-preserved village compounds. Jinhu also has sandy beaches and is the site of Kinmen's airport.

The climate is subtropical. October to April are the best months. The township is spread out.

Kinmen Airport (KNH) is located in Jinhu, making it the most accessible part of the island by air.

By Car / Road

From Jincheng, Jinhu is about 15 minutes by car. Buses connect the two towns.

A scooter or car is best for exploring the dispersed military sites and villages.
