About Siguenza
Siguenza is a beautiful medieval town in the province of Guadalajara, crowned by a spectacular 12th-century castle (now a Parador hotel). Its compact historic centre is filled with Romanesque and Gothic churches, noble mansions built from golden sandstone, and narrow cobbled streets that evoke its centuries as an important episcopal seat.

By Plane
The nearest major airport is Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez (MAD), approximately 90–200 km depending on the exact location. From there, regional buses and trains connect to most towns in Castilla-La Mancha.
By Train
Renfe Media Distancia services connect the provincial capitals and larger towns. High-speed AVE trains serve Toledo, Cuenca, Albacete, and Ciudad Real from Madrid. Check Renfe's website for schedules and advance fares.
By Car / Road
Major motorways including the A-4 (Madrid–Andalusia), A-42 (Madrid–Toledo), and A-3 (Madrid–Valencia) connect the region. Secondary roads are well maintained. Parking in historic centres is generally restricted.
The best way to explore any town in Castilla-La Mancha is on foot within the historic centre. For connections between towns, ALSA buses are reliable and affordable. Car hire is recommended for visiting smaller villages and natural parks.
