About Eumseong
Eumseong (음성군) is a county in north-central Chungcheongbuk-do, bordered by Gyeonggi-do. It is best known for its Eumseong Traditional Market, one of the largest and most famous 5-day traditional markets in Korea. The market operates on days ending in 4 and 9 and draws visitors from across the region. Eumseong is also an agricultural centre known for its watermelons and organic farming.
