Faleata is a village on the north coast of Upolu island in Samoa's Tuamasaga district. It lies along the coastal road west of central Apia and is part of the greater Apia urban area. The Faleata area includes sports facilities and the Faleata Sports Complex, which was built for the 2007 South Pacific Games.

Samoa has a warm tropical climate. The dry season (May to October) offers the best conditions for travel.

How do you get there?

By Plane

Faleolo International Airport (APW) is about 28 km west — a 30-minute drive. Taxis cost around 45–55 WST.

By Car / Road

Faleata is about 5 km west of central Apia — a 10-minute drive. Regular buses from Apia serve the route.

Buses and taxis connect Faleata to Apia. The sports complex is walkable from the main road.
