About Solosolo
Solosolo is a village on the northeastern coast of Upolu island in Samoa's Atua district. It lies along the coast east of Apia, positioned between the Falefa River and the ocean. The village is part of the Atua political district, one of Samoa's traditional political divisions.
Samoa has a warm tropical climate. The dry season from May to October offers the most reliable weather for visiting, with lower humidity and less rainfall.

By Plane
Faleolo International Airport (APW) is about 45 km west of Solosolo — roughly a 50-minute drive. Taxis cost around 70–90 WST.
By Train
By Car / Road
Solosolo is about 20 km east of Apia on the main coastal road — a 25-minute drive. The road is sealed. Buses from Apia serve the east coast route regularly.
The village is compact and walkable. Buses to Apia and points east pass along the main road. Hiring a taxi for island exploration is recommended.
