About Solca
Solca is a town in Suceava County, northeastern Romania, situated in the historical regions of Bukovina and Western Moldavia. It is the smallest town in Suceava County and the third smallest in Romania, with about 2,400 inhabitants. Its name derives from the Slavic word for salt, referring to the area's salty springs. Solca was once a well-known spa resort and is famous for its eponymous beer brand, first brewed here in 1810. The town is known for its high-quality air and picturesque setting at the foot of the Obcina Mare Mountains.

By Plane
The nearest airport is Suceava International Airport (SCV), about 50 km east. Taxis and rental cars are available.
By Train
Solca is not connected to the national railway system. The nearest train stations are in Gura Humorului (about 30 km south) or Rădăuți (about 23 km north), from where buses and taxis connect to Solca.
By Car / Road
Solca is accessible by county road, about 23 km south of Rădăuți and 32 km north of Gura Humorului. It is about 48 km from Suceava.
Solca is a compact town best explored on foot. Taxis are available for longer journeys. Local buses connect to nearby villages.
