Things to do

The Evangelical Fortified Church is the largest in the Burzenland region, built in the 13th century with later fortifications. The Măgura Codlei is a distinctive kettle-shaped hill with a fortress ruin at the top — a short hike rewards you with panoramic views. The Museum of Traditions displays Saxon heritage. Old German-style houses line the historic streets.

Hike up Măgura Codlei for the best view of the city and surrounding Carpathian foothills. Stroll through the old town to see well-preserved Saxon architecture. In summer, enjoy the flower gardens that gave the city its nickname. Visit the town's parks and the nearby forests for easy nature walks.
