Quezon is a municipality in southern Palawan that is home to the Tabon Caves, one of the most important archaeological sites in the Philippines where the Tabon Man -- the earliest known human remains in the country -- was discovered. The town is surrounded by forests, farmland, and limestone karst formations similar to those found further north in El Nido. Agriculture, fishing, and small-scale tourism are the main economic activities.
