Al-Bireh is a Palestinian city adjacent to Ramallah, together forming the Ramallah–Al-Bireh metropolitan area. It is the administrative capital of the Ramallah Governorate and a major centre for business and government. How do you get there?

By Plane

Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) is 50 km southwest. A taxi costs ₪300–400. Budget: sherut to Jerusalem (₪45), then bus or shared taxi to Al-Bireh (₪5–8).

By Car / Road

Al-Bireh is adjacent to Ramallah, 15 km north of Jerusalem via Route 60. Shared taxis from Jerusalem's Damascus Gate run every few minutes.

Al-Bireh has a grid of wide streets. Taxis and shared taxis are plentiful. The Ramallah–Al-Bireh area is the most developed in the West Bank for ride-hailing apps.
