Why visit Beit Iksa?

Beit Iksa is a Palestinian village in the Jerusalem Governorate, located 6 km northwest of Jerusalem's Old City, near the Green Line. The village occupies a strategic hilltop position with sweeping views of the Jerusalem skyline, including the Dome of the Rock. Beit Iksa has a population of about 4,000, predominantly Muslim, and is known for its olive groves and the strong community ties that persist despite its location near Jerusalem. The climate is Mediterranean: hot, dry summers and cool, rainy winters. Spring is the best time to visit. The village is compact and walkable.
