Dhalkut
Z̧ufār, Oman
Why visit Dhalkut?
Dhalkut is a small coastal village in the Dhofar region of Oman, located about 65 km west of Salalah near the Yemeni border. It sits on a dramatic stretch of coastline where the Dhofar Mountains meet the Arabian Sea. The village is known for its traditional whitewashed houses, frankincense trees in the surrounding hills, and its remote, unspoiled character.
The khareef (June–September) brings mist and drizzle, transforming the otherwise arid hills into green pasture. The dry season (October–May) is sunny and warm.
