Rakhyut

Z̧ufār, Oman

Why visit Rakhyut?

Rakhyut is a small fishing village on the coast of Dhofar, located about 50 km west of Salalah near the Yemeni border. It is one of the most remote settlements in Oman and is known for its pristine beaches, dramatic cliffs, and proximity to the Yemen frontier. The area has a wild, untouched beauty and is popular with those seeking solitude and unspoiled nature.

The khareef (monsoon) from June to September brings dense fog and drizzle to the coast, while the dry season (October–May) is sunny and warm. The village has basic facilities only.
