Oro-ago is a town in Kwara State, part of the Irepodun local government area in the Igbomina Yoruba region. It is a rural agricultural settlement primarily producing yam, cassava, and maize. The town observes traditional Igbomina customs including the annual new yam festival (Iri-ji) with colourful masquerade performances and traditional wrestling. The town's market serves local farmers as a collection point for tubers and grains, and the surrounding green countryside of rolling hills offers a peaceful setting. Oro-ago is connected by road to Omu-Aran and Ajasse Ipo.
