Kafanchan

Kafanchan is a town in southern Kaduna State, serving as a key railway junction on the Lagos–Nguru line and the link to the Port Harcourt line. The town is a multicultural melting pot of the Atyap, Bajjuu, and other southern Kaduna ethnic groups. Kafanchan is known for its Sunday market, the College of Education, and the nearby Kagoro Hills. It is also the birthplace of the Nok culture's more southerly expressions, with terracotta finds in the vicinity.
