Oisterwijk

Oisterwijk is a charming town in the province of Noord-Brabant, known for its beautiful forested surroundings and a series of fens (vennen) that form the Oisterwijkse Bossen en Vennen nature reserve. It has been a popular destination for day-trippers and nature lovers since the 19th century. The town centre has a pleasant market square with historic buildings and terraces.

Oisterwijk has a train station on the Tilburg–'s-Hertogenbosch line, with regular services to both cities. By car, it is easily reached via the A58 motorway.

The town centre is compact and walkable. The best way to explore the surrounding forests and fens is by bicycle or on foot.
