Murino (also spelled Murina) is a small, quiet village located in the Plav municipality of northeastern Montenegro. It is situated in the upper valley of the Lim River, surrounded by the rugged peaks of the Visitor and Prokletije mountain ranges. The village has a peaceful, rural character and serves as a local transit point along the road leading over the scenic Čakor Pass toward Kosovo.

Murino is located along the main road connecting Berane and Plav. It is served by regional buses running between these towns. The village is about 10 km north of Plav and 25 km south of Berane.
The village is extremely small and can be easily explored on foot in a few minutes. A car or bicycle is necessary for exploring the surrounding mountains and valleys.
What are the things to do?
The village features a memorial to the victims of the 1999 NATO bombing, which is a significant local landmark. The Lim River flows through the center of the village, offering scenic river views.
Hike the trails leading up to the Visitor Mountain and its beautiful glacial lake (Visitor Lake). The area is also popular for fly fishing in the Lim River and cycling along the quiet mountain roads.
